How do Commerce7 and Quickbooks Online work together?

You pick the system of truth (usually the ERP or store for stock). Wherehouse keeps Commerce7 and Quickbooks Online in step: stock, orders and pricing flow with your rules, so you are not recapturing data between them. A dedicated account manager sets this up with example orders first.

Is Commerce7 the system of truth, or just another channel?

Either. If Commerce7 holds master stock, we write marketplace orders into it so inventory decrements as if the sale happened on the store. If your ERP holds stock, Commerce7 is one channel next to the marketplaces. We establish that with you at setup, because it flips the order flow.

Will marketplace orders email my Commerce7 customers?

No. Marketplace buyers already got their confirmation from the marketplace. We keep those orders from triggering storefront customer emails, so you are not double-messaging people.

Do you update a QuickBooks invoice after it is created?

No. We create the invoice (and optional payment). That is deliberate: accountants do not want a sync rewriting invoices that are already in a period. Get the mapping right on examples, then let new orders flow.

Can you handle marketplace fees?

Fees can ride along so a Takealot sale is not booked at sticker price. We will map them to the QBO accounts you actually use.

Is there a setup fee?

No. There are no setup fees on any plan. During onboarding we ingest your catalogue and sync a couple of test orders and products, so you know it works before you rely on it. You only pay once the account is live. Billed monthly. Cancel any time.

How long does onboarding take?

Usually 1 to 10 business days, depending on how many platforms you connect and how specific your rules are. A dedicated account manager sets it up with you. We run specified example orders first. Nothing automatic goes through until those are right.

Do I have to live in the Wherehouse dashboard?

No. Most sellers keep working in the store, ERP or seller portal they already know. Wherehouse runs in the background. The dashboard is there when you want one view of stock, orders, fees and sync history.
