How do Shopify and Superbalist work together?

You pick the system of truth (usually the ERP or store for stock). Wherehouse keeps Shopify and Superbalist in step: stock, orders and pricing flow with your rules, so you are not recapturing data between them. A dedicated account manager sets this up with example orders first.

Should marketplace orders go into Shopify?

Only if Shopify holds master stock. Then we write Takealot, Makro and Amazon orders into Shopify so inventory decrements. If Cin7, Unleashed or Xero is the hub, Shopify stays a storefront and we pull Shopify orders out instead. Ask us this first. It is the whole design.

Do you support Shopify variants?

Yes. Each variant is its own SKU for marketplace stock and price. We can still group them back into one Shopify product when that is how the store is built.

Will this replace the Shopify apps I already use?

For marketplace stock, orders and fees, yes, that is the job. Shopify stays your storefront. Wherehouse is how it talks to Takealot, Makro, Amazon and the ERP, with rules those apps do not have.

Is this the same as selling on the Superbalist marketplace?

No. This is the supplier / B2B side: purchase orders the retailer raises on you. Marketplace selling is a separate connection. Many brands run both, from the same Wherehouse account.

Is there a setup fee?

No. There are no setup fees on any plan. During onboarding we ingest your catalogue and sync a couple of test orders and products, so you know it works before you rely on it. You only pay once the account is live. Billed monthly. Cancel any time.

How long does onboarding take?

Usually 1 to 10 business days, depending on how many platforms you connect and how specific your rules are. A dedicated account manager sets it up with you. We run specified example orders first. Nothing automatic goes through until those are right.

Do I have to live in the Wherehouse dashboard?

No. Most sellers keep working in the store, ERP or seller portal they already know. Wherehouse runs in the background. The dashboard is there when you want one view of stock, orders, fees and sync history.
